Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
MyBodyMath ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at mybodymath.com/wp/, providing free fitness and nutrition calculators. We are not a medical provider and do not offer medical services.
2. Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Any health data you enter into our calculators (age, weight, height, body measurements, etc.)
- Your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information
- Payment information (our service is free)
- Account credentials (we have no accounts or sign-up)
All calculator inputs and results are processed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to our servers.
3. Information that may be collected automatically
Server logs: Like all web servers, ours automatically records standard server log data when you visit a page — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. They are not linked to any personal identity and are routinely deleted.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site in aggregate (e.g. which calculators are most popular, what devices people use). Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on ↗.
Google AdSense: We display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings ↗.
4. Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie/localStorage entry to remember your dark/light mode preference (key: mybodymath-theme). This contains no personal information and is stored only on your device.
Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies as described in Google’s Privacy Policy ↗.
5. URL parameters
When you use a calculator, your inputs may be stored in the page URL as query parameters (e.g. ?age=30&weight=75). This is a convenience feature that lets you bookmark or share your results. These parameters exist only in your browser’s address bar — they are not stored in any database on our end.
6. Third-party links
Our “How We Calculate” page links to academic journals and research databases (PubMed, DOI.org, DTIC, etc.). These are external sites with their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data practices.
7. Children’s privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
